Anyone see this?

Is the fact that the camera has had "CLA work"(Clean, Lube, Adjust) done at Steve's an indicator of anything? Would this actually be only a benefit? For some reason the emphasis on the fact that it had good repair work done made me weary of the state before.

If this is my first purchase into rangefinder cameras - whats the best way to go about making sure everything is hunky dory when I receive it?

This is actually my first buy back into photography period - haven't shot in years.

Thanks so much to this forum - you made the purchase an exciting no brainer. Now on to figure out what my first lens should be.

this is a good thing. Steve's work is impeccable! you can rest assured that everything will be working perfectly, rangefinder aligned, no dust on the sensor, etc.

when i bought mine -- used -- the first thing i did when i got to L.A. was have Steve check it out.... having this done beforehand, saves you a couple hundred bucks :D
