Anyone Use Abdi FC-35/120 film scanner carrier ?

Guess it depends on the camera and lens setup. I'm using my Nikon Z7 with the 60/2.8 AF-S Micro Nikkor and the ES-2 neg/slide copy attachment for 35 film and it works very well. For 120 I'm using the Lomography Digitaliza carrier and it seems to work okay (It's $44). For a copy stand I have the Novoflex MagicStudio Repro (the one that clamps to a countertop) as well as Huion LED light tablet (like the one in your link above). As far as my particular situation goes, this setup seems to be great - it doesn't take up much space at all, it's right next to my computer so the camera is tethered to it, and it makes scanning a fairly painless endeavour.

I'm using the same hardware setup as Vince - minus the tethering. Works great for me.

There's no reason the Abdi holder should not work. It's just another method to hold film. But I'm done looking for solutions because I already have them.

p.s. funny how his camera is in the incorrect orientation to the film format in the pic.

The Abdi FC-35/120 works well for my purposes. I prefer it to the Nikon ES-2 to scan the full frame with border. It's also a fair amount less expensive than the Negative Supply product, which was a factor in my selection. All the photos with black borders on my Instagram (link below) are with the FC-35/120. I use a D610, Micro-Nikkor 60mm f2.8 D, a DIY copy stand and iPhone 11 (light source). There is a picture of this setup in my highlighted stories on IG.

Full disclosure, there are a few of my pictures on Abdi Camera's IG, but I have no affiliation or investment in the company. I had an issue with the 120 holder and he replaced them free of charge and asked for sample photos. He liked the samples well enough to post them (with my permission).
