At a local thrift store today I picked up a Durst Colorcopy 350 slide/neg copier. I thought the guy had an enlarger upside-down!

I think it has a Nikon mount (I'll check when I get home) and the neg carriers for 35mm, 6x6 and a larger format (4x5?).

I figured the Rodenstok lens was worth at least the $40 I spent on it, so I didn't think there was much risk.

It seems like it would be ideal for 'scanning' negs with a DSLR. Anyone use one? There isn't a lot of info out there, it seems.

Here's a pic of one:

Oh man, I can tell we are going to be friends.

I just need to get my head around the colour filters for colour, but for black and white, this should be great.

picked one of these up for nicks. used a rodenstock 75mm enlarger lens and a Z6 Nikon camera - very impressed on how easy it was to use

We got one for free in our photoclub just before the covid restrictions. No opportunity to test iy. Hopefully one day, it seems to be a good way to work.
