I have a pre-asph 35mm summilux that takes series 7 drop-in filters. i know there are series 7 polarizers, but i've never seen one and can't imagine how they work. i.e., once you dropped in the filter and screwed in the retaining ring, how could you rotate the filter to vary the degree of polarization?
Most of my other M-lenses take 46mm filters, and there's a nice solution for them and other common sizes: the Photo Equip Filter View, which uses a 77mm filter and step rings. But so far as I know, nobody makes such a thing that can be adapted to series 7.
