I spoted the APO 90/3.5 Lanthar lens and after 2 glasses of red wine I thought a bit about the real benefit of the APO saga. As far as I understand, APO glass flatens the R,G and B components of the light. Nice, but what about the Fuji color film layers and Sigma's Foveon chips? Moreover, how all these chips having pixel level lenses go against the APO minded lenses? I think they don't. Let me know more about.:bang:

Not sure about the film layer thicknesses. But for the Foveon you can assume that the distance of the layers
is in the sub-micro-meter range, therefore it doesn't matter.
