A couple weeks ago we visited the Historical Electronics Museum in Linthicum, Maryland. I tucked my Argus-Cosina 35 rangefinder into my camera bag, loaded with Kodak Gold 400 film. This another one of those compact rangefinders that's suspiciously similar to the Konica C35. Most of the inside shots were taken wide open at f2.8.

The main focus of the museum is radar technology, as with these antenna arrays. The museum was founded by electronics defense contractor Westinghouse, and is now operated by Northrop-Grumman.

A large radar antenna on display outside the museum.

A portion of the radar system designed for the F-4 Phantom fighter jet.

W3HEM is the museum's in-house ham radio station. Licensed visitors are allowed to operate the station, accompanied by a museum volunteer.

And, in constrast to their modern setup, here's exhibit showing how an early amateur radio enthusiast's setup might have looked.
