THIS time, I mixed the FG7 1:15, and cooked the soup for 7 minutes, with one inversion each minute. The film was rated at 125 this time, and seemed to give me cleaner negatives...a bit crisper all around. Here are three pix from the latest roll....

I like the texture of the images...not a lot of grain/noise, and the tonal range seems pretty broad.

The experiment continues, and the next images will be from my vacation, a transatlantic crossing.

Regards!
Don

You have achieved, to me, the impossible. Getting a good image out of AEU100. I running a roll of AEU 400 (120) now. I'll think about FG-7.

Hey, Carter!

It ain't nobel-winning chemistry, partner...just tinkering. There aren't THAT many variables, and it's just a matter of being able to repeat...

I'm making a transatlantic crossing in a few days on the QM2, and will be taking the Bessa and the 21/f4, along with my DSLR. There ought to be some interesting stuff to shoot in the ship. I'll post some after the 17th...

See ya!
