I've always like his photos too. I read somewhere they can't figure out how he took some of his actions photos with turn of the century cameras.

I used to classify him as someone who was in the right place at the right time which sounds somewhat derogatory which was not intended.

It might be better to suggest that he was someone who knew he was in the right place at the right time and had the ability and eye catch the moment.
