I recently bought an M6 & added a Canon 50mm f/1.8. It is the type 2 version. I really like this lens and here is an example wide open. Wide open it is not real sharp but it has a nice look to it. It vignettes a bit wide open but it works well for this shot. Anyway, this shot is from the Grange Fair in Central PA.
Shot at 1/60 sec at f/1.8 on Fuji color neg film. Duotone conversion and minor PS work like dust removal, cropping and burning.
