this afternoon, while i was at work, canada post attempted to deliver a parcel to my home.
it is not available for me to pick up until tomorrow after 1p.m.

i have no idea what it was though.

i have a few things expected and the notice card gives no indication as to what it might be.

and i have to work late tomorrow!

damn...

Joe, there's only one thing you can do... quit your job and pick up your stuff.

Joe,

Remember back last Fall when you had those nice nurses' aides helping you out? Perhaps as a way of helping you avoid any "undue stress" their services would include "picking up" a parcel that would cause you trouble to do on your onw?

Just a thought. 😀

Is this the main post office in town? Do they have a night shift? Maybe they'll let you pick it up tonight at the loading dock.

no, we have smaller privately run, postal outlets all over town.
the real post office delivers to the closest one.

but they close at 11p.m. and at 10:30 i'm calling over...just in case🙂

At least they didn't just leave the package on your doorstep. I've come home to a box sitting on the step in the rain a few times.

it probably needs a signature.
the notice card has nothing written in the amount due section so it's probably not the zi.
probably the 35mm brightline finder.

You never know, Joe. The last one I got there was no hint of customs duties and taxes on the notice ... guess they thought I'd appreciate the surprise at the postal station. :bang:
