Hi everyone,
I own a Leica IIIc with what appears to be a faulty shutter system. I'll wind it on, hit the shutter, and it'll stick. If I turn the speed dial a little bit the shutter finally triggers, but it the first curtain never makes it all the way across, and the second curtain doesn't even make an appearance.
So my question is, does anyone know of someone that will repair a IIIc here in Australia. I'd really like to save on shipping/time and get it repaired within the country. But I have a feeling i'm going to end up having to find someone overseas to do it instead
Thanks for any help.

The best camera is one that still works!
There's a member here who lives in Brisbane by the name of Charles Woodhouse who can CLA Leica screwmounts ... haven't seen a post from him for a while though and I don't have any contact details unfortunately sorry!
I did just manage to find his member/user details though. http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/member.php?u=14707

Awesome, thanks Keith. I sent Charles an email, so here's hoping he responds.
Kind of keen to get this thing repaired and start actually taking some photos
