Back lighting - which lenses are suitable?

Hello, my name is M, and I am a back lighting addict.

That means, I don't like flare, ghosting and reflections because I can't see them in the finder of my M6.

What do you think are the best lenses (wide, normal, tele) for my favorite lighting?

Dump the M, and switch to R camera bodies:eek:.
A 60mm Macro-Elmarit f2.8 or a 100mm Apo-Macro Elmarit f2.8 should get you started.

R :D.

Can't think of any lenses that won't give you some flare, etc. in strong backlighting. Of the lenses in M mount that I have extensive personal experience with, only the Noctilux comes to mind as being particularly flare-resistant.

My 50 asph is wonderful flare-wise.

I've heard great things about the 35 Summarit in this respect. Check Puts's review of it where he also compares with the cron and lux asph.

The VC 35/1.2 is pretty flare resistant too, the flare in the bottom right was due to the filter I had on at the time:
