Dear all,

I need a bag or backpack for:
1. Leica MP with 50 cron, 35 lux plus shade, 90 cron, Sekonic 758, and maybe table tripod.
2. Hass 501 CM with 80/2.8 CFE, one or two lenses (150, 180), and Sekonic.

I am choosing from LowePro, Tamrac, and Crumpler. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

All that in one bag at the same time or to hold either the Leica Kit or Hassy Kit depending on your mood?

For number one, I would go for a MountainSmith Tour lumbar pack with a padded insert. For the number two, I would go for a small pack and carry each item in a small padded case with a strap. When you are working, you can take the gear out and hang it around your neck/shoulders. The MountainSmith can be one of those padded bags.

try the NG medium backpack. The lower compartment can fit my Hasselblad 501cm with 80 lens attached, and M7II body with 3 lens. My Leica is in the upper compartment. Meter is in the outer top packet. water bottle is on the side pocket. I have a rather large tripod so I have to carry seperately.

One warning though, fully fitted gear is too heavy for day hike. I'd consider very carefully what to bring before I start packing.

There is also a NG large package which I personally would consider if I do a long trek. The price is competitive with similar bags.

I use it every day too. A good bag to be sure.

I've got the small Lowepro Trekker backpack, older style, green/black, in great shape that I'd love to sell- make me an offer.
