Hello everyone. I regularly use Bakhoor (or, Bukhoor) in our house. Bukhoor is similar to any Incense stick but creates stronger and long lasting fragrance compare the the incense stick. So it generates lot more visible gas compare to the fragrance stick. I was wondering if it's ok to use them in the same room where Leica camera and lenses are kept. I don't want the lenses and camera get completely screwed because of it.

I suppose if it is very strong, it could impart an odour to anything, particularly softer parts like leather. Just like anything from a regular smoker's house.
I know at least that carbon monoxide is released by burning incense, which is not so bad for the cameras, but not great for you. No idea about bakhoor!

Thanks Andrew. I don't really care about the smell or any cosmetic change. So that's a good news for me. BTW, I really enjoyed your photos @ flickr.

It's only a problem if you intend to sell the cameras at some point, really.
