These are the shots I felt "made the cut" from the two rolls of HP5+ 400 I shot during my Uncle's Bar Mitzvah a few month ago. not including any already in my gallery.
I wish I had been shooting 1600 for the night-time photos, as I lost quite a few because of excessive motion blur, but, all the shop had was 400.

Be as harsh as you need to be in your criticism, it's the only way I'll learn!

The brother of the Bar Mitzvah, Raphael.

I loved all the contrasts in this shot, but there are a few distracting elements I regret in the frame.

Very nice but I see your problem with EI400 in the night shots although the frame of the dancers has great atmosphere. HP5 pushes quite happily to EI3200 in Microphen or DDX and I've had good results at EI1600 in HC110.

1 and 2 are very striking and atmospheric shots. i'm not really distracted by anything in shot 2. the fact it's busy in a slightly random way just enhances the atmosphere of the situation to me. the tonality and contrast in both are great. shot 3 i am somewhat distracted by the fact the two main subjects seem a little out of focus, whereas i'm not distracted by that in shot 1.
