Got my first image posted from the little Canon Sureshot Supreme, bought for £3 from a local thrift store. The film is Neopan 400 @ Ei200 developed in Rodinal 1:50 with minimal agitation. A combination that I am growing to like very much for its tonality. Wish all my "bargains" were as useful as this one !!

Hi John
I suspect that the Canon Sureshot Supreme is a camera completely overlooked by both 'snappers' and collectors. I've had some super pictures from mine and when my first 'bit the dust' bought another on eBay to replace it. Think I paid a bit more than £3 but it did have a virtually fully charged battery! Then discovered that the 'new' battery with which I had been testing the first camera was a 'dud', and that by swapping batteries the first camera worked just as it always had!! Quite pleased now to have two 'workers'.

Hi Jesse.
I have been pleasantly surprised by the camera`s performance and it is an ideal emergency carry everywhere camera. I do have to re-code the film cassettes to get Neopan 400 to play ball at Ei 200 but that is a doddle. Also the flash defeat button is a bit fiddly, but the performance without flash is really good.
