Hi,
Altough I live in a town with a lake, I'll go to another small town with a lake for a week or more. I like shooting also 'street' in small towns.
Of course as most people, choosing gear is tricky.
I have 2 film cameras: Minolta srt 101 with 58 and 35mm lens, and Minolta 7sII, and about 8 rolls of film. I would like to take both bodies.
Also I would like to have a digital camera for some streets/family photos/metering.
- The long zoom and good macro on Canon s5is doesn't bother me since I have good lens on srt 101 for wide shots, portraits and DOF shots. Canon is heavy and big, uses 4 batteries. http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/S5IS/S5ISA.HTM
- I consider Fuji e550, even it's a very old digital camera, it has wider lens than Canon s5is, small zoom, it's sharp, it has very 'digital' look but I think that for streets and metering will be a good choice - it's small and uses 2 batteries. http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/E550/E55A.HTM
Also,
How to store film correctly in a car while driving and in the apartment or outside while shooting?
What's your thoughts?
Thanx in advance,
Stevco.
