Lots to find in that first one.
The woman with the Umbrella in the upper left corner is a great catch.
She looks absolutely trapped on an island with this composition.
I have the Bessa ii Heliar also but have never put any 35mm through.

Cool. Is the lens removed and then adapted for 35mm on a 35mm camera or is the camera somehow adapted for 35mm?

You can purchase adapters on the auction site. They are 3d printed and fit on the ends of the 35mm cassette.. You need to cover the red window of the Bessa II.

How do you judge correct frame advance? I guess one could use a test roll with the back open, but how did you do it?

I put a test roll with back open, mark the position of each frame and remember how many round I have to turn the wheel on each frame, the more roll bigger, the more round reduced
here is I used on 6x9 frame
