Bessa II - US$599 paid on ebay!

Can anyone explain to me why this Bessa II went for such a high price? Is it a rare model, or is there just a resurgence of interest in MF folding rangefinders? ebay item 160042243156

That is actually about the going rate for Bessa IIs with Heliar lenses. They're a camera I would love to try, but the premium makes it not worth it.

A Bessa II with an APO-Lanther lens will go for about 3 times the $599.

I'm still kicking myself for not having bought a Bessa II with Synchro Compur and Color Skopar that I saw a couple of years ago for $280. It needed new bellows, but that's something a Juergen Kreckel (certo6) could do. Indeed, the ones with the Color Heliar go for a lot more.
