All;
I have the following lenses for my M6:
28 Elmarit
35 Summicron
50 Summicron
90 Elmarit
I'm looking for something smaller than the stock Leica leather cases, (but something that offers good protection)
I found a LowePro Pouch Case for the 50 and 90, but it won't accomodate the shades, (which I typically leave on all of the time).
Any recommendations for a good, small case? I've looked at Zing, OpTech, LowePro etc, but haven't found a good fit.
Any recommendations?
Thx
Brad

personally, i think the leica case specific to the lens is the most compact case you'll find.
i use a few products from ThinkTankPhoto, which can hold a single lens (Lenschanger 15) and can be mounted on a 'speedbelt', or left to float in larger bag, soft pliable, draw string, come with individual rain covers. these products are designed as 'working' gear...the 'Lenschanger 50' is roomy enough to hold an MP with leicavit and a 50mm.

I just ordered a couple cases from this guy for my Summilux 50 and Summicron 35.

I was looking for something without a zipper, figuring it might be easier to open. I'm also going to look for an unpadded camera bag to possibly replace my A&A Sabastio's Reporter Satchel.

the artisan and artist neoprene case works well from anything up to 90mm.
the summilux 75 fits snugly, as does an e58 noctilux.

... likes film again.
I have two or three cheap (~5$) small pouches for digital P&S cameras, in the size of my biggest lens (90mm Summicron-M). They prevent my lenses from banging against each other in a backpack and I prefer them over the Leica leather pouches because leather (organic material) can more easily get infected by fungus.

I've had several simple leather cases made by the cobbler who sits on the pavement at the street corner. Given away all but three, most to RFF friends. In light (sorry, not deliberate) of what Gabor says, I should put them in sunlight from time to time.
