Was experimenting w/ square aspect ratio the last two weeks...
The Ricoh sometimes seems to put something in the dng file that Aperture does not like.... Aperture throws up an unsupported file error on those dng files. I cannot find Rhine or reason.. The situation occurs when using raw w/ square aspect ratio. Currently about 70-80% of those square raw fills are absolutely fine... But the rest are not usable by Aperture.
When I get a chance I will try to check this out on other raw editors to c if this is just an aperture problem.
