Sometimes (okay, usually) I am negligent making contact sheets for neg sleeves and I binge print contact sheets, but then there is the problem of matching all those (about 100) contact sheets with their neg sleeves. Solution: north facing picture window "light table".

It's so easy your dog can do it!
How do you stick the printfile pages to the window?

It is a smart dog.
I used that clear cello scotch tape, the kind you'd use to wrap presents.
I'm so happy to have that job done. Without the big back lit area to spread the neg sleeves out in, it would have taken hours.

Thanks Rob.
Joe, it was funny, as my wife was reading the newspaper in the living room as I was doing this. After I had 5 or 6 sheets taped to the window, she did ask, "What are you doing?"
After putting these matched sets into a binder, I checked to see what was left over, and there are about 80 more neg sleeves that I still have to contact print. All these accummulated over the last 3 years.

Funny, I tried it tonight and it didn't work. Maybe I should ask my dog.

Putting film sleeves on the window. They looked black.

Over-exposed, and/or over-developed?
"Tried it TONIGHT..."
Try it during the day.

what size paper do you use to make contact prints with that window?

Rob, if it was the full frame window, it would be 6x14 feet. But I use 8x10inch paper for each neg sleeve, individually.
