Hi,

Just wondering where I could find the Billingham Hadley Pro for a relatively lower price. I wouldn't mind ordering outside of the US if that's required :)

Also, any thoughts on the Fibernyte vs Canvas? Which one is more durable and will hold up longer?

Thanks,
David

Well, I have no idea where you can get the cheapest buy. I wish you well on what I consider the best bag for my uses. I sold a Nikon D40 to pay for mine and it was a very wise move on my part.

I have my complete Leica kit with two bodies and sometimes a third with lenses, cleaning supplies, film, notebooks and plenty or room for an iPad someday.

Which material? No idea. But it is fantastic looking and exudes quality.

Haha I love how you sold a camera to buy a bag :)

You got the Hadley Pro right? Would you happen to have some pictures of the kit? I just bought a Hassy 500CM and I'm hoping I can carry my Leica + lens along with the Hasselblad + lens. Possibly down the road I can purchase another M mount lens so that should be able to fit..I hope.

LOL...I don't have a digital camera anymore! The D40 was the last of all my digital cameras to go.

It has been awhile since I held a Hassy but IIRC, the dimensions of the Hassy are no larger than my Leica R4 with a power winder and it fits in the middle compartment. The M3 sits in the end compartment and all of film, extra lens, cleaning supplies, reading glasses, etc. are in the other end compartment. The bag is very capable of swallowing most anything except LONG lenses.

Maybe someone else can chime in here about the Hassy with a picture.:)

Ah thanks Dave! I'm thinking this might double well as a laptop case for my thin Air and perhaps my notebooks for when I have classes... Do you have any pictures of your rig?

Haven't taken any pictures of the bag or even the R4 with the power winder to show how it fits...but this Review is just what you need:

BTW, I did check to make sure the iPad fits in the inside between the insert and the back panel...fits perfectly. Seems that I also fit the Air in there as well while at the Apple store but I don't remember for sure. Check the dimensions and compare them. The insert comes out completely if you just want a large empty bag.

For me, the Pro bag was the perfect bag. Good luck.:)

You can fit a Hasselblad 500 (with a 50 or 80 lens) in the middle, and an M on either side, but it starts to get pretty heavy on the shoulder!

Awesome thanks for the pic! Yeah, I don't think I'd walk around all day with that but if I'm traveling to a location I'd probably do that. :)
