I just wanted to share some pictures of the birth of my son, Gabriel. Pictures are mostly about the waiting ... waiting for light. I wanted also to show women (my wife in this case) in anti-odalisque position. What is an anti-odalisque pose? Well, you'll see; if it's not obvious, I failed then.
Pictures have been taken with my Summitar on Leica M2. Film is Neopan 1600.

Feedbacks, comments, criticisms are welcome.

Back home.

I saw these on your Flickr, Marc, just minutes ago. They are beautiful. Your wife, and your children, are beautiful, too.
Congratulations!

I too have just seen these images on Flickr: they are pictures of breath-taking compassion and beauty, suffused with love and a wonderful intimacy that strikes to the heart. It is a joy to share them. Thank you! They are magnificent.

Thank you Marc!

Ian

Thank you all for your kind words.
I have three stars in my sky and spend my whole nights to contemplate them. In other words, I don't sleep anymore ;-)

Congratulations, Marc!
I believe that your pictures cannot describe in full your happiness; by the way, wonderful shots.
Have a nice weekend with your lovely family.

Wonderful Marc! I particularly liked the one of your daughter with her new brother. It reminds me so much of a similar one I took many years ago. These pictures are timeless. Congratulations on the pictures and also your beautiful family!
