I was reading a thread about XP2 film and remembered my days at Ilford and how you could make XP2 into a monochrome transparency film.
This is pre XP2 Super but it should work the same. No special chemicals or magic formulas.
Simply rate XP2 between 80 and 125 ISO and push process it 2 stops in E6 chemistry. This gives a monochrome transparency.
I say monochrome as there is a tint due to the formaldehyde used in one of the E6 chemicals so not a true black & white.

ha!this sounds funny.
Now i am thinking, how on Earth could i convince the guy at the photo shop to push process a C41 film in an E6 system.
Any ideas what happens to the chemicals?
