So... I had a sudden nosebleed with my M3 around my neck, and a drop fell around the shutter release. Some of it got in and around the space between the release and collar. I cleaned it up as well as I could, but I'm sure there's still some in there. So, should I worry?

It'll probably dry and fall apart.

But how's your nose? ;)

Thank you for asking... currently, I have two pieces of tissue paper rolled up in my nose (one started shortly after the other stopped), but I think they've both stopped. Yesterday, I somehow coughed through my nose (not sneezed) and I've been having nosebleeds a bit more frequently... I guess I need to be a bit more careful where I put my nose...

allergy season will do that.

Yes, yes, I know. I made sure to take care of myself before bothering about my camera... Thank you, though.

Do not even mind about the camera, once a drop passes through the shutter release collar it will spread around and dry on the first surface to leave a residue to have nothing to do with the functions (it's not like oil to seep everywhere..) However, if you are over 50 have your blood pressure checked time to time.
