On my visit from Toronto to Kingston by motorcycle to visit my parents, I stopped by many garage sales and antique shops along the way. I bought 2 rangefinder cameras. The first, a Canon G111 QL I paid too much for because it has front enement lens separation (does anyone have a parts camera with good front lenses?). The second though was a little jewel called a Lumica made in Japan for $16. I have it pictured here with the Canon so you can see the size. Cool, eh?

hey frank,

they look good.
i don't know the lumica but i'm sure someone will be along soon with some info.

a buddy of mine just moved to kingston, he transferred through his job. small world.

yes I do... in fact, it's just the barrel at this point because I'm going to keep the body. You can have it. I live in Scarborough & work in Markham.

Kin, I PM'd you.

Hm, I think you've ended up with a pretty rare camera there Frank... Care to post a photo of the top plate?

FWIW, the lowercase letters are from a popular script font most often called "Commercial Script".

HA, Me too. The first thing I thought when I saw the font was, "Hey their trying to look Leica-like". :p
