On my visit from Toronto to Kingston by motorcycle to visit my parents, I stopped by many garage sales and antique shops along the way. I bought 2 rangefinder cameras. The first, a Canon G111 QL I paid too much for because it has front enement lens separation (does anyone have a parts camera with good front lenses?). The second though was a little jewel called a Lumica made in Japan for $16. I have it pictured here with the Canon so you can see the size. Cool, eh?

First I thought your camera looked like a Pax. I thought an M3 (from Yamato).
Picture here: http://bal4u.dip.jp/mt/came/archives/y/ halfway down the page.
Another photo here: http://www.ozcamera.com/pax.html
But - they later came out with a Pax M4 - and that looks MUCH more like your camera: http://canon-a.fantastic-camera.com/dasoku/paxm4.htm

yes I do... in fact, it's just the barrel at this point because I'm going to keep the body. You can have it. I live in Scarborough & work in Markham.

Richard, that's the one. Mine's clearly labelled Lumica, so this must be a case of relabelling, perhaps for the American market. The focus scale on my camera is in feet. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing Frank
FWIW, the lowercase letters are from a popular script font most often called "Commercial Script".
