From a collector's point of view that is true. From a user's view point, I have less than 10% of that's seller's asking price invested in my early version Bessa II fitted with a Heliar.

Nice. The box that is presumably holding the lens shade is from some unrelated lens, or at least it says "Objectiv" on it rather than "Sonnenblende," which it would if it were a box for a lens shade.
I had a Bessa II with a Heliar for a while. It was too left handed for me, so I sold it, but it was a nice camera with a great lens. I remember the lens shade was particularly hard to find. I think I paid around $100 for the shade alone.
