I lay in bed this morning watching the local news and was treated to video of the implosion of Kodak's building 9. The newscaster gleefully described that the building was used to manufacture photo paper. I guess they imploded building 23, too.

Gleefully? Now why on earth would he be happy about the destruction of an emulsion coating building?
Somebody should implode his house
and see how gleeful he is about that.

Well I interpreted it as "gleeful." There was this whole positive spin on the segment about how Kodak had changed focus to digital and how the destruction of building 23 represented the end-of-an-era, which it does, but there seemed to be some negative attachment to the past and what the building represented.
