Bye Fomapan 100 Professional?

Seems like Fomapan 100 Professional has been discontinued by Foma. I wonder if any of you have an idea what happened.

As far as I know, Fomapan 100 Classic is still in production.

Yes, there are (there were) two types of Fomapan 100, Classic and Professional. What’s the difference between them? Hard to tell. Some even say it’s the very same emulsion with different branding for different markets, but in Poland, where I live, both were available and Professional was slightly more expensive.
 
The two differently labelled Foma 100 speed films are the same film labelled for different markets. Nothing has been discontinued.

I recall seeing it online quite a long time ago, but I thought it was just a market or distribution packaging difference, should be the same Fompan as the Classic.

Fomapan 100 Professional was available on the Polish market for at least two years, simultaneously with Fomapan 100 Classic. There was a price difference between these two films. In that case different branding for the same product is pretty strange (not to say unfair), but who knows... As a matter of fact a friend of mine wrote Foma once to ask what is the difference between the films (except of the price), but they never wrote him back.
 
I bought Fomapan 100 Professional and Fomapan 100 Classic in different occasions in Prague. I have used both and did not notice any difference between them.
