I've just read an old thread that claims that C-41 and E-6 chemicals represent a grave health risk. What are the specifics behind this statement? Thanks..

Life presents a grave health risk. Non-specific statements like that have little meaning. If you are interested in reading about the real, factually assessed risks, look at the MSDS. Search at: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuer...o&idhbx=msds&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=52544

I have read the safety enclosures with Tetenal C-41 and I find it confusing. They suggest that it may cause cancer and irritate skin, but in other areas they don't list cancer causing agents. It is difficult to determine the gravity of any statement reviewed by their lawyers.
