Hi,
And don't lose the little bit you unscrew as they cost an arm and a leg.
Here on ebay are a couple of pictures to help you. No connection with the sellers, btw. It's just the easiest way to find a photo for you.

thanks to both!
I saw those adapters a few days ago.
That would let my Leica II to be used for pinhole! Or well, long speeds in general (but I have an ltm pinhole)
The curtains do strange things (ruining 99% of the pictures) and I can't service the camera now. So the safest is to use it in B.
thanks again

any tip about how to unscrew it safely? I see it's not easy...
and it turns when cranking so I don't want to force it in any way...

Hi,
I usually cock the shutter and then unscrew the little guard. It's a fiddly thing to do because of the narrow space. The next time it will not be so difficult...
BTW, the cable release thing also fits on IIIc style shutters.

Done. Little force was needed. Nice.
I'll get an adapter when I can
