I am in Fort William in Scotland and will be in Edinburgh about 30 Aug and London 4 Sept. I am looking for a dealer in either location who handles Zeiss ZM lenses. Thanks.

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for all the information. My daughter and I arrived in London after a 10 hour bus ride from Edinburgh. Having a pint and then to bed. And yes, Leica dealers can damage your wallet, especially if like myself, you only brought 1 M body.

Well, Classic Camera did not have the lenshood I was looking for. I got up to Red Dot and after looking at their website, I was expecting large and modern. It is about the size of my living room but what a collection of Leica stuff. No damage to the wallet at either location.

My daughter went shopping and I headed to the British Museum and stopped at both Aperature locations. In one, a young woman was getting ready to buy a 500C/M and in the other I found a 43mm lens cap. Funny thing is I remember going to both Aperatue stores on my last visit to London 3 years ago. I purchased a 28 Elmarit R at the time.

I am beginning to think folks in the UK might have a greater appreciation of film cameras then their Yankee cousins. But then I stumbled across a few modern digital stores so the jury is still out on film appreciation being greater in the UK then USA. I suspect it is the same on both sides of the pond.

Leaving London tomorrow for a month in Portygal and Spain.

A minority interest in the US can support almost an industry (or at least a few businesses) in the UK a minority interest is too small to support much...
