The other week I was the victim of a rear end collision. I'm now seeing a chiropractor several times a week, but i'll be fine, at least I hope. I'm not hurt bad enough where I can't work, but it is a situation I hope never happens again. But anyhow the thread is not about me, but this man I met. He suffers from bone deterioration in the neck and it came from carrying a camera around his neck for the last thirty-five years. I didn't get to learn many details about his problem because of time, but i'm figuring he was maybe a reporter. I never thought about this before but it does sound logical. Has anyone here ever suffered from neck injuries, or needed care from a Dr. from carrying a camera around their neck? I never met anyone who suffered from carrying a camera around their neck before so I thought this might be interesting and maybe informative to us all.

cheers

Wow, sorry to hear about your bumper car experience. I hope your road to recovery is a speedy one. :)

Personally, I've never met anyone who suffered an injury... unless the camera strap got caught on something and yanked... I really cannot see anyone suffering something extreme from carrying the camera around the neck... although, I'm sure - like anything - it's possible.
