Not sure what these are. Came with some Mamiya, Plaubel, etc. cameras. As you can see in the photos, they are marked with a "P". Could this stand for Plaubel? Thanks.

Flash sync cable. The two bladed is often called 'household' and is relatively common on studio strobes. The round end is for the sync terminal on the camera. Most likely at least, it could also be some sort of adapter cable.

Paramount was (maybe still is) a company that made a lot of such cables. That's probably the "P".

As Mike said, probably Paramount. Certainly not Plaubel - that plug was very much a US thing (in Germany there was a slightly smaller round pronged equivalent).

This is a flash sync cord made to connect a flash that used the AC 2-blade connection to a camera or shutter that uses a PC connection.

The AC connection was common with camera flashes through the early '60s and remained in use on some larger camera flashes until the early '70s. It was also the most common connection for studio flashed from their inception through the '90s. The PC connect is the most common camera/shutter connector.

The "P" would not be for Plaubel. There was a reasonably common US manufacturer that made very good heavy duty cables during the '80s & '90s that used the "P", though I can't remember their exact name at present.

** EDIT: I believe Sevo is correct in that the "P" is for Paramount. That's the company I was thinking of.
