Can MMC be used?

My dumb question #2: can MMC be used on the RD-1? I have a couple of MMC's (from a compact digicam which used both MMC and SD, using the same slot). Wondering if this type of card could be use as well- say in a pinch in instances where low capacities are needed or as backups?

Yes they can but given the slowness of the things and that a 1Gb fast SD costs virtually nothing AND holds 100 RAWs I don`t see a reason to slow the thing down with small MMC cards even in an emergency .

Thanks Adam. At least now I know that those old cards can still be used somehow...they're too small to become paperweights
