july 1st, canada day and a day of celebrations all over town...my fave is the silly summer parade on the south side...i go almost every year and it's pretty hard not to get a few good shots...plus it's fun.

i'm thinking that i might head out with just the x100...

I did that last year. It is good fun. I have to work this year. I'm sure you will get some good ones!

decided to head out with the x100 and one rd1 with 50/2.5 attached.

keepin' it simple.

I'm in Port Hope for the same..parade, fair etc. M3, M7, selection of lenses and some film - but in the end.. the M3, the 50 and MAYBE the 90 will be my choice :)

Sounds like good fun Joe. Looking forward to seeing your shots. Wish i could be there, I fancy a parade shoot but it's a long way from the UK. Gonna have to wait until Manchester has it's Pride parade I think.
Though I was discussing holidays with my wife yesterday and we both said we fancied a trip to Canada. When it'll be is anyones guess, maybe next year who knows.
Anyway, I went out shooting a demonstration yesterday and shot using my X100 alongside the RD1. I mainly used the RD1 and 15mm as it was suited to shooting in the tightly crowded spaces. The X100 turned out some nice shots too. I've posted them on my flickr site.
