Canon 35 1.8 on KEH!

Obviously have no affiliation with the poster (KEH) but I saw this on the big auction site and couldn't just let it languish any longer. I apologize if there is a more appropriate sub-forum to post this sort of thing in. Someone buy this lens so that I don't!

Looks like a great candidate for a CLA - slightly oiled aperture blades and some fungus on the rear element.

I bought a bargain 35/1.8 from KEH a while back for $239 and while the external condition isn't as nice as that one, the glass on mine is pristine.

I'd pass on this one. You don't know from the ad the extent of the fungus. Better to buy from the KEH website, where you can inspect and return the item. Like the previous poster, I bought a bargain grade Canon 35/1.8 from KEH (in early 2011), with no oil on the blades and clean glass. The lens is an excellent performer. I wonder if KEH is trying to sell its UG rated products on fleabay in order to move them.
