Just found this on that auction site . Anyone want a fast Canon RF lens for under $200? The seller also has a 50/1.2, but that one is at a more usual price ($275).

I have my finger on the BIN button...how does the size of this thing compare to the summilux and nokton and also the canon 50/1.5.... basically anyone know how far it sticks out?

Looks like he also has a 50/.95. What's the deal with the disclaimer for the .95, about it NOT being a TV lens? Also, is it not LTM (excuse my ignorance of Canon lenses)?

Thanks for driving me totally crazy. I would have jumped on this a couple of months ago but with winter lay off coming money is getting to be a rare comodity around here. So any extra I have has to go straight into my 48 willys jeep project as it has to get finished.
Ikiru,
I take it you grabbed this real bargain.
As to your question on size comparison, read this thread and page down for my Leica IIIf modeling the lenses in question. The Canon 50mm F1.5 is petite compared with the F1.4. The Canon 50mm F1.4 is an exceptional lens, but feels better on a Canon 7 than on a Leica IIIf or CL.

Thought you were buying a Bronica medium format kit and a classic 70's stereo?

I missed it brian! I hesitated too long trying to figure out the sizing! I think I'd still rather have the 1.5 anyways.... The count down is on though, my m2 should arrive any day now! I need a lens!
