Well I pulled the trigger on a Canon 50mm 1.2. Got the lens, original Canon 55mm UV filter and lens cap for $270. There is some oil on the lens, but the glass and body look OK. Here it is mounted on my $35 Canon 7. Has anyone tried this lens with a Canonet lens hood mounted on it? I have a pic with the hood mounted on the lens.
