Canon LTM Canon 50mm 1.8 doesn't mount perfectly on Canon P

Weird issue. My Canon 50mm 1.8 screws well past the center point on my Canon P. In comparison my LTM Voigtlander lens mounts perfectly. Both lenses seem to give perfect focus.

Has anyone else had Canon lenses not mount 'perfectly' on their Canon RF?

That is normal for a Canon lens. If you have good eyes you can see the aperture through the viewfinder.
