O well, finally I had a deal I couldn't let pass on that lens. I know that it might not be the best lens (not at all) for a Leica screwmount, but it looks gorgeous !
I'll be buying either a Zeiss Ikon or a Leica M6TTL in about 6-8 months, but meanwhile I would like a 50mm finder for my IIf since the rangefinder works well enough to my taste (I got good eyes). So, any suggestions for a beautiful 50mm finder ?
Obviously it's nowhere near the convenience of an M3 or Canon 7 (on which I tried this lens), but it looks better and that counts !

Julien, no earthly reason why the lens should not be OK on a screw Leica. Finder: an SBOOI, if you can find one, or else the Cosina Voigtlander equivalent.

Julien, I use the CV 50mm finder with my IIIa (and the IIIf when I had it), it has lovely gorgeous build quality and 1:1 magnification is great. The chrome finish matches the Barnack chrome finish too.
