I've just got my Canon 7 in overall seemingly perfect condition. One thing is bothering me: a strange after-sound on speeds slower than 1/30. Like if something springy jumps few times before stops after the shutter closes. I have a record: https://www.dropbox.com/s/00nbeg0f2dfmy72/ZOOM0069.mp3?dl=0
Is it ok? Thank you.

i think you are hearing the slow-speed escapement. I don't have a Canon 7, but that sound --like jumpy ball bearings -- is common in mechanical cameras. Don't worry. Shoot it in good health!

Yes, that's the slow speed escapement returning to rest. Hearing it means your camera is working properly. Don't wind your camera while this rattling is happening. Happy shooting.

Thank you guys. I was confused because I've never heard such sound with SLRs.
