After getting hit by the latest episode of GAS I bid on a Canon 7Sz and won.
I had read that one of the features of the 7Sz was a redesigned finder.
Although I compared the new finder with that of an old Canon 7 I could not see any difference. The ghost image around the rangefinder patch (a common feature of the '7) was still there albeit to a lesser degree. I am hard pressed to see if there was there any visible improvement in the new finder.
Any similar experiences?

Think Different
Look at a white wall with both cameras. It’s subtle, but I do see a difference when I compare my 7sZ to my old Canon 7. The diopter on the 7sZ is different than on the 7 or 7s, so that’s one thing my aging eyes do notice. A bit less ghosting and secondary reflections too. But again, it’s not a lot.

Thanks for your observations. I guess the subtle changes are not always visible depending on the individual. After 50 years the camera probably could benefit from a cleaning of its optics.
