Hello all,
I'm doing some home repair on a Canon F-1N and am looking for some advice. Namely, I'd like to switch out the rewind knob from a donor body and put it on another body with a broken foldout rewind lever. So far, though, I've been unable to loosen the disc in the middle of the rewind knob that's keeping it in place. The disc has two small holes opposite each other that suggest I need a spanner tool of some sort, but I haven't been able to find any small enough for this task. I'm also worried about that small pin in the very center of the rewind knob.
At any rate, if you have suggestions on how to approach this without damaging the knob, I'd appreciate it! Canon F-1N repair advice is hard to come by, but this seems like the place people would know.
