Just developed a roll to see if my new toy works, waiting on my slides to be developed, this is a nice camera!

Great photo! Like the expression of the kid. I wonder is there a correlation between his expression/personality and the cast on his left forearm? :p

Thanks guys,
Rover,
The film is Tri-X dev. in D-76 1:1 @ 8:45 min, 70 deg. (nothing exotic) and scanned on an epson 2450 flat bed.

todd, did you scan the negs or a print?
sorry for such a basic question but i'm so in the dark with this scanning business.

Hey man were all in the dark when it comes to this stuff. I scanned the negatives at somewhere around 9600 dpi on my epson 2450 flatbed scanner. It works allright for 35mm but a dedicated film scaner would be best. Mine has a "negative holder" for 12 negs. I think. I originally bought the scanner for my 4x5 negs, works great for them.

I have the 3200 version of the Epson. Never liked it for scanning slides/negatives. Any 200 dollar film scanner will do a better job.

That is a great scan though. I also have the 3200 but I really need to learn how to use it. I have signed up for a Photoshop class at a community college. I hope that serves as a good starting point.
