I just finished fixing the wind lever lock function and it works! :p Have always had the problem of the film wind lever not locking up after the shutter was cocked, but was too afraid to fix it. I didn't want to have to peel the covering back to get to the right side cover plate, I didn't want to mess it up.

Well, after recovering a Minota XD-11 with a kit from Morgan Sparks I decided to tear into the QL. It didn't turn out too bad - but you can tell where I peeled back the cover, it's kinda flakey and cracked. A good excuse to order cameraleather.com's black goat skin cover kit !!!! ;)

What did you use to loosen the glue with?

So, we meet again! :p Would you believe I just used a new blade (sharp) in my X-acto knife and very carefully cut the cover away from the camera frame. Keep the blade edge and point against the metal so you don't cut into the covering. Just like skinning!

Yeah, it had been a couple of hours since my last cup of coffee, most of the cafeine had leached out! :p
