i have a Canon MC and a AF35ML which suffered from the same symptom:
they tend to stop advancing mid-roll
if you press the shutter button it will make motor sound (tat tat tat...) but it just won't advance the film. 🙁
they are both second hand and i don't have a manual, perhaps i did not load the film properly?
any clues?
