Hi all,
Recently I bough a canonet QL17 GIII. the firs day it was perfect - I was really happy to see battery check working. Next days I started carrying it around and it went through one b/w roll. Results are really great.
The problem - shortly after the first day the battery check would not light up. Still cammera functioned OK. Next, after week or so I noticed the meter needle was not functioning. Tried to play with the battery, nothing. Next morning it workeg again...changed battery, same effect, needle started to jump nervously when I touch/change the speed or aperture rings. I noticed also that meter neede would jump if I move the focusing lever. Finally after couple of days it went dead. At present, couple of days after, canonet's meter is still dead, changing battery doesnt help.
Anybody knows what's happening and where I should poke?
