Hello,
just got a Canonet QL17 GIII. It's in good condition, but there's one small problem:
I inserted a 1.5V Alkaline battery to test the light meter in A mode. It works, but if I set the camera to 320 or 400 ASA,
the exposure indicator drops down into the over exposure area and the shutter gets locked. At ASA 500 and above
the shutter and the lightmeter start working again, but the lightmeter gives incorrect readings.
For example ASA 500 f/5.6 1/60 seems correct, but it shows the same f/5.6 1/60 for ASA 800.
I have a handheld light meter, but in certain situations I'd prefer having a working one inside the camera.

Any ideas? Is it possible to repair the camera?
